Former Oriskany High School Industrial Arts Technology Education teacher, Charles Smith, oversees the OJCC Apprenticeship Program, which consists of training in all the major skilled trades including plumbing, carpentry, steam fitting, electrician, and masonry to name a few. “These are skills that are in high demand today,” said Smith. “But with an eye on the future, we are pursuing new programs in cleanroom maintenance and nanotechnology as we speak.”
