ORISKANY, N.Y. (WKTV) – James Kernan founded “Oriska” in the 1980s as an on-the-job training program. In 1999, the program moved to the Bronx, partnering with SUNY Maritime College. Now, there is an opportunity to expand it back home. “We want to bring it back to CNY with continuous operations with what we will continue to do in the Bronx,” said Kernan.
